Lord Byron published his complete account of the Greek Revolution from his first involvement to his exile from Greece. Completely self serving and exaggerated, the memoirs nevertheless struck a chord in their condemnation of the Conservative system. Lord Byron has become entwined closely with the British Liberal movement since his return and had become a very loud critic of the Castlereagh Government, making noises about making changes through the House of Lords by pushing for reform from there. He received a cool reception from many of the peers, including Wellington.

The War between Egypt and the Ottoman Empire reached a new height as Ottoman forces attempted a strike deep into Egyptian territory. An Army of 60,000 was sent to strike deep into Egypt and head straight to Cairo and overthrow Muhammad Ali from that point on. High hopes went into the assault, believing that further reinforcements of 50,000 would secure victory over the wayward vassal. This would prove to be a gross underestimation of Egyptian strength as Ali had not been sitting on his hands since he gained control of Egypt.  
 
Ali had a much more advanced Army than its Ottoman counterpart Alternate History: 1826

April:  
 
Pressure upon the Greek defensive positions started once more as another Ottoman assault commenced after the end of winter. As the Greek positions had been further reinforced over the last few months, the Ottoman attacks were unable to penetrate the Greek defences to any great extent. Facing deadlock once more, Mahmud II had no choice but to call upon Egypt for aid. Mahmud had tried to avoid asking the wayward vassal in order to prove his own power over the Empire. But with the stalemate proving to be almost unbreakable, the Sultan had no choice.

The Rebellion in Arabia was finally squashed as the Rebel forces were smashed in a battle outside of Sakakah. The Rebels had failed to gain any measure of popular support for their cause and they had barely managed to keep together an Army for the last six months of their existence. The ringleaders of the Rebellion had all been captured or had fled to the more remote parts of the Empire to escape the Government’s wrath.  
 
With the Rebellion out of the way, Mahmud II turned his eyes to the west once more and looked at Greece. Over the last eighteen months, all of Southern Greece had Alternate History: 1824

Who/What are you?
Yoshiie: I'm Yoshiie, a Japanese teenager who's found himself in a position to defend Japan against an Oni Army along with some others.
Sir Avalon: I'm Sir Avalon, a man's spirit trapped in a suit of armour, defendig the British Empire against the threats that are arising in the early twentieth century.
Yoruba: I am Yoruba, a mercenary from Jalla City in Nigeria, I do whatever I can for money and to defend the people of Jalla from anyone.

Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Yoshiie: No.
Sir Avalon: Some, we don't talk often though.
Yoruba: None at all.

What's your height?
Yoshiie: Just under five foot? I think...
Sir Avalon: Six foot eight exactly.
Yoruba: Just over six foot.

How old are you?
Yoshiie: I'm fifteen this Summer! ^__^
Sir Avalon: Thirty-eight.
Yoruba: Age? Old enough, that's all your getting.

Are you a virgin?
Yoshiie: *Non-plussed.* No... What's a virgin?
Sir Avalon: That's none of your business!
Yoruba: *Taps gently on his gun while glaring with his one eye.*

Who's your mate/spouse?
Yoshiie: *Completely blank* Umm... I'm not married...
Sor Avalon: I don't like your tone...
Yoruba: *Stares, not thinking, but remembering...*

Do you have any kids?
Yoshiie: I'm only fourteen! How am I supposed to have a family?!
Sir Avalon: No... sadly.
Yoruba: ... No...

What's your favorite food?
Yoshiie: Rice balls with my own special sauce. :)
Sir Avalon: I don't have to eat now... before it was a good Sunday roast.
Yoruba: Whatever doesn't poison me and doesn't make me choke, I'll eat.

Have you ever killed anyone?
Yoshiie: Do Oni count? I've never killed another Human
Sir Avalon: I was a soldier once, killed a few yes.
Yoruba: When I've had to yes, but I don't do more than that.

Do you hate anyone?
Yoshiie: Oda Asano, the leader of the Oni Army... Although I've never met him...
Sir Avalon: Lord Randolph, the man who betrayed Britain... and me
Yoruba: ... Nduka Izunna.

Do you love anyone?
Yoshiie: *Blushes a deep red.* Uh... I guess... Shino?
Sir Avalon: There is no one I'm afraid.
Yoruba: No... not now...

What is your job?
Yoshiie: Um... Hero? I guess...
Sir Avalon: I am a soldier and perform other services for His Majesty's Government.
Yoruba: Mercenary.

What do you do to relax?
Yoshiie: Meditate or read history books.
Sir Avalon: Read something by Victor Hugo
Yoruba: Find a good place for target practice.

There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?
Yoruba: Ignore them, they're not worth much really.
Sir Avalon: Ignore them, I have better things to occupy my time with.
Yoruba: *Taps his gun.* Let them know I have a very low toleration for that kind of thing.

Say there's a person you really care about but she/he doesn't know your feelings. How do you tell her/him.
Yoshiie: I uh... um... (Is actually is in this position. XD)
Sir Avalon: Tell them, no sense in pussy footing about.
Yoruba: Let them know. Doubt if I ever will feel like that though.

What kind of powers do you have?
Yoshiie: Well, I'm a good swordsman, not the best but I can go up against some real tough opponents...
Sir Avalon: I have the strength of a hundred men, invulnerability, near immortality and can survive in extreme conditions.
Yoruba: Powers? I'm only the best shot in all Africa.

What is your sexuality?
Yoshiie: What's a sexiuality?
Sir Avalon: What's that supposed to mean? You ask odd questions...
Yoruba: ... Well I ain't gay that's for sure.
